Hi Asbjørn,
Unfortunately there is currently no migration option except for registering your datastores in the conf.xml file and moving that file to the new directory. Your settings are otherwise stored in the userpreferences.dat file but since the upgrade includes a change to the format of that file it is not readable by the application.
Maybe a future feature for DataCleaner, but currently we didn't spend a lot of time on this problem.

Hi Asbjørn,
As of DC 2.1.1 you can copy the userpreferences.dat file from an old DC installation (2.1 and onwards) and it should restore the preferences with backwards compatibility.
