Use of Lexicals in Patternfinder
hi guys, i'm new here and just checking the patternfinder component.
is it possible to define some lexicals to be used by patterfinder?
eg
Sydney Clinic 23 Pitt St Sydney 2000
Sydney Shop 22 George Rd Sydney 2000
i would like to define how buildings and street types be represented in patternfinder so it will end up like below.
eg
stTypes $$$ ={St,Rd,etc}
shopTypes @@@ ={Clinic,Shop,etc}
AAAAAA @@@ 99 AAAA $$$ AAAAAA 9999
AAAAAA @@@ 99 AAAAAA $$$ AAAAAA 9999
is this possible in patternfinder? if so, would you mind sharing me a link to it. thanks.
thanks for your help.

Engramar

Hi Engramar,
Something like this is available, but unfortunately only for a single category (yet, there is a story to make it more flexible).
You do this by filling out the "predefined tokens" properties. You need to specify a name of the token (eg. "Street") and a regular expression for it (eg. "(St|Rd|Av)").
Hope it is useful for you.
