HI,
i have configured 1.4 Data Cleaner of every step as in insatllation guide had given but it is not showing me the data Cleaner GUI .IT giving me exception Exception in Thread Main:

The Java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError means that you need a newer Java version to run the program. I'm guessing you have Java 1.4 installed. You can verify this by running a "java -version" command in the console.
To get a new version of Java, go to http://www.java.com/getjava (you need at least 5.0, the latest version is called 6.0).
On your second question - I'd recommend you read our DataQuality information page.
